Overview
Pakistan endured another devastating monsoon season in 2025, with extreme rainfall and flash flooding ravaging Sindh and Punjab provinces from July through October. Over 930 people died from housing collapse, landslides, and drowning, while more than 2 million people were evacuated and displaced. The flooding destroyed crops across millions of acres of agricultural land, threatening food security for months to come. International organizations mounted a massive relief effort, providing emergency shelter, clean water, medical care, and food supplies to affected communities across the country.
